As we were flying from Kochi to Lakswadeep , we all were excited to see the relatively untouched land of Lakswadeep. The first view of Agatti island from the plane was so awesome and colorful that we all became sure that this visit is going to be awesome and curiosity to explore the island increased to the level max.
After de-boarding the plane and clicking few pics we all proceeded towards guest house to change and have our lunch. But we were so excited that we just changed our dress and went to the nearest beach without having lunch. The water at the beach was as transparent as it can be and since there were not much tourists allowed it was very clean. We enjoyed a bit there and then came back to guest house for lunch.
At around 3:30 we went for scuba diving , there while others were doing scuba me and my friend manoj went to explore the island , around 200m from the beach we found some coconut fruit and tried to peel it to drink coconut water, but despite our best efforts we were not able to do so .So we decided to take help of locals, we found two elderly ladies doing some work, we went there and asked for help. Unfortunately neither they knew our language nor we knew their language. But after little effort they got to know that we are struggling with the coconut and they both laughed on us . One of the lady went in her house and peeled off coconut within 10 seconds using an instrument and gave it to me . then we started trying making hole in the coconut, again unsuccessful, she again came to rescue and showed us how easy it is. We got little embarrassed but we did learn the technique to peel off the coconut and make hole to drink coconut water.
After this coconut drill we came back to the scuba point and changed to scuba dress, but since it was now too dark the scuba got postpone for next day.
Next day early in the morning we left on boat for Bangaram island, Though it was very hot and sunny day but boating in clean and clear water was just awesome experience. At some place we can easily see fishes and other aquatic animals inside the water. This Bangaram island was much more beautiful than Agatti island, We explored the whole island on cycle, there was a beautiful lake in that island with coconut trees around it with lot of greenery.
After cycling of about an hour in trees and narrow paths in jungle we came back and did glass boat for about an hour. It was again awesome experience we saw different corals of different color from very near, and also saw fishes and sea horses in their natural habitat. After that we did kayaking for about an hour. While kayaking we saw a big sized tortoise , we tried to follow it but somehow missed it .
At about 4:00pm we left Bangaram for Agatti again and enjoyed evening boating on the way. After coming back to Agatti me and one of my friend roamed on the beach and played volleyball on the beach with locals and then explored the market of Agatti in the evening and came back to the guest house.
Next day in the morning we left the paradise for kochi to continue our bharat darshan.
